Santa is sitting on his lower bunk in the barracks, looking through the backpack that holds his starter kit. He's pretty annoyed as he flips through it and it shows on his face as his mouth twists and his eyes narrow. There's a pink, metallic looking watch object on his left wrist that he pulls at occasionally, looking even more annoyed every single time it doesn't come off. When he starts pulling objects out of the backpack and trying to use them to pry off the so called watch, it's obvious that this is the source of his annoyance: he wants it off and he wants it off now. He knows there are only two ways to remove it, he knows this, but he's trying anyway. He never expected to actually be trapped somewhere without the ability to remove it at will.
The fact he's concerned with this over their surroundings and the situation suggests it must be pretty damn important.

Making his way back to his own upper bunk in the corner, post clean-up, and he blinks as he notices one of the newer arrivals. With their gear strewn everywhere. Prying at something on their arm. That was odd, as normally no one came in with any of their own stuff.
"Problem?" Ventured carefully, expecting the other to be skittish and suspicious. Trunks wouldn't blame him either, considering the circumstances. He was still suspicious and on his guard most often.

"So what is it?"

It should be obvious from the addition of more swear words that the Nonary Game bugged him. It really, really did - it just happened to bug him for reasons other than playing it. That's why he's able to complain about it so easily. But never tip off your role behind it, Santa thinks, not even here. Never show that you were one of the sadistic assholes.

Because from his cursory examination, Trunks figured there might be a decent chance he could get it off the other. Either with brute-strength, or with a tool or two.

Trunks wanted to be absolutely sure the other was comfortable with this risk. "Maybe they kept the bomb in you to keep you compliant here." His brain was thinking over various possibilities, including calculating the risks for what he was doing. "Any idea how big the radius of the blast would be, specs on the bomb?"

Lies lies lies.

"You willing to be one of those bodies, if you're wrong about them taking that bomb out of you?"

It's funny how the only time he truly tells the truth is when it has to do with his sister.

"But, if you're determined to get that thing off, then come with me." Uncrossing his arms and moving to head out of the Barracks. "We're heading outside. Less to damage."
