[ Aoi leads Corrin to his dressing room. It's a lot less colourful this time around - he's too in between homes for the game to know what to do with him, so all it really populated his dressing room with is a lot of scarves. He's laid his armor very carefully in a corner. He himself has gone a little overboard with the clothes part of things - the rack is a bit stuffed and the floor underneath it is cluttered with sneakers. So at least his dressing room has life in that way.

He leans against the door once he closes it and reaches out to pull Corrin into his rms for another hug. ]

... [ And he's more than eager to wrap his own arm saround Aoi as he laid his head against his chest, closing his eyes and exhaled a long breath he held in. ]

A couple things, really. One that's the strongest right now is ...I think Niles has a daughter. ['I think I have a daughter' he almost wants to say but doesn't. ]

[ Lays a kiss on top of Corrin's head and rubs his back with a hand. ]

Even though I'm clearly a man and even though I don't understand how... [ As his appreciation for the kiss, he gives a kiss at Aoi's jawline.]

I... want it to be true. [It would have almost broken his heart if Nina had a different mother honestly, but he won't add that.]

Well, do you understand how timelines work? Because this is just a case of a difference in those.

[ He follows the jawline kiss with a quick, gentle kiss to the lips. ]

I vaguely understood people sometimes came from different timelines from each other in the last round? Junpei might have said just a bit about it about you, him, and June...

[ But being a woman in another timeline/parallel??? A bit odd, but Corrin can try to take it in.

He nuzzles at Aoi's cheek and pulled back to listen.]

[ He pushes off from the door and tugs Corrin towards the dressing chair, sitting in it and then patting his lap. ]

[And he didn't even ask if he preferred a lap dragon on his lap. He wraps his arms around Aoi's shoulders as he gently sat atop him. ]

[ Aoi prefers it this way, actually, so he's happy for the choice. Slipping his arms back around Corrin, he nuzzles his nose against his cheek and thinks. ]

Okay, so... you know how every day you make decisions in your life? Can you think of a big decision you ever made that really impacted you?

I imagine how different things would have been if I fought alongside Hoshido instead of Nohr .

Yeah, there's one. The idea with timelines is, there's other yous out there somewhere who did decide to do that. For every decision, there's a counter decision and a you somewhere out there that made it.

So with this, whatever decides that you're born as a dude instead of a lady went the other way instead.

I see... [A hand had come around and stroked at the white hair where it began at the back of Aoi's neck as the prince listened.

He couldn't help but have a passing thought of trying to imagine what he looked like as a woman. He tried to guess and wonder what Nina remembers of her father.., and mother. . ]

Somehow I feel like I should expect another case of different case of different timelines. in case this girl isn't the only one. I should talk to Azura. I only spoke with her little. [Things have been happening.]

Azura and Leo are both from different timepoints or timelines. I know because they have no idea who I am. I don't know which is the case with either, but they're definitely not from the same time or place as us.

[ Aoi's pretty annoyed about this, but it's hard to be too annoyed when his hair is being petted, so it doesn't fully show. He closes his eyes and presses his lips to Corrin's cheek now, then his forehead, then his nose. ]

This group is complicated.

... [He only listened as he closed his eyes to accept the gentle kisses. ]

Perhaps. But I hope it's been far better than what you had last time? [Nobody here is a June who will stab you. like geez. ]

Yeah. I'm still scared of what will happen when I run into my sister - I saw her name on the list of votes - but this is way better. Nobody from you guys is gonna murder me.

Was she? [A blink. ] But we haven't seen her. How odd.

If I may say, I hope it stays that way, for your sake... [His arms wrapped around Aoi just pull the other even closer till their chests touched.]

And we never would. We always will protect you. I love you.

[And that might be why he wanted to tell you about their... daughter. He was hesitant to think what Aoi would feel. It's hopefully a good sign because AOi wasn't leaving this closeness. So far? ]

[ He nods, but drops the sister talk, because... it makes him upset, and he doesn't really want to be upset right now. ]

I'll always protect you too. Because I love you too.

[ He wouldn't leave so easily. He has no problem over something like a child anyway. He thinks the idea is pretty good, actually.

That's why I'm going to vote for you this time, by the way. So don't let anyone else do it, okay?

[ He presses his lips lightly to Corrin's. ]

[ Corrin was going to fret and make sure his army had votes moreso, but this... He couldn't but feel a weight coming off his back at the confirmation of having a vote.

As his show of appreciation, he gives a quick kiss to those lips in return.]
