"The fact I'm upset. I guess it's..."

He sighs and trails off.

"You'd think me crazy."

Roland hummed softly, a small smile on his face in seconds.

"We're trapped on some ship, forced to undergo a cruel murdergame and there's people from different worlds and unnatural powers involved. I highly doubt I'd think you're crazy, Aoi." Given this whole situation was something he'd never experience back home and all.

One could say he looked at things from a new perspective now.

"..."

Aoi thinks about this for a little while, and then a little while longer.

"I've been repeating this game. Over and over."

That did make him blink a couple of times. The only reason he knew Aoi was serious about this is the fact that he was so reluctant to bring it up to him at all.

"Really? Like... some kind of... loop?" Okay so he wasn't entirely knowing of the meaning 'time loop' yet but he was trying? It didn't mean he was calling him crazy or anything so that was a plus.

"How is that possible?"

"A time loop, yeah. I have no idea how it's possible, but it keeps happening!

The first time ended up with Hermes getting everyone killed."

It took a second to try and wrap his mind around it. A time... loop? The concept just sounded so strange.

"So... this game is just... repeating over and over? With all of us currently here on the ship now?" Bear with him. He's still trying to understand all of it as it comes. "...How on earth did Hermes manage to do that to us?"

"It's too complicated to even explain. But keep an eye on him. He's dangerous."

He exhales.

"Hubert killed me in another loop, too."

[godspiousjasper]

"Right. Hermes is a little unpredictable but I think I can keep an eye on him..." Though Roland did pause a little hearing that last part, brows knitting back into concern. He didn't even realize a slightly darker tone filled his voice when he spoke again, though.

"...How did that happen? Why did he do it?"

"Stabbed me."

Aoi isn't happy about it either, and it shows. While it's too early for much, he's developed some sort of feelings for Hubert already, or at least interest? So having experienced this is a little difficult.

"He fell to a motive."

[godspiousjasper]

There was something quiet and disapproving on his face, though he managed to temper it a little. He already had a couple things running through his head all the same, having heard that though.

"...Which one? If it comes up this time, maybe your death can be prevented." Not that he doubted Hubert would just find another, but for now Roland was just focusing on one thing at a time.
