[It is evening and by looking at the board, it looks like votes were settled. But after.... Ronove, Corrin doubted that was the final vote for some. But he won't think about that right now.

He's just thinking to check on Aoi. He only left to get something to eat, something that he sort of didn't do for most of the day...

But he approaches for Aoi's bed and the other seems to be... in thoughts? Bothered? That's then he's approaching Aoi's bedside, a hand reaching for his, carefully, and sits on the edge of the bed.]

Aoi? I'm sorry I made you wait.

[ Aoi looks up at Corrin for a moment, holding onto his hand tightly for a moment before loosening his grip. ]

You didn't make me wait, you had to eat. Mom came and got me for something, anyway.

[ He's in more pain from moving now and it's visibly shown, but the pain's more than physical. It's also emotional and this reflects in his eyes and the way he keeps looking back down at their hands rather than meeting Corrin's eyes. ]

[Corrin definitely noticed the lack of meeting each other eye to eye.

He lifts their held hands together to kiss the back of Aoi's hand.]

Did she, now? Did something happen? You seem... more subdued. Are you in more pain?

[ Aoi nods quietly. He doesn't even smile at the kiss like he usually would, though he feels bad for not doing so. ]

We went and saw Junpei. There was an argument.

[ He exhales sharply. ]

The prince scoots closer set beside Aoi and let's their hands remain held. He gives a reassuring stroke with him a thumb over Aoi's hand.]

[ He finally reacts when Corrin sits beside him and leans in to press a kiss to Corrin's cheek. It's a bit of an apologetic one, for being so wrapped up in his own thoughts. ]
