[ Aoi is taken by surprise and nearly jumps out of his skin, so intent was he on looking. He makes an awkward noise and then looks up sheepishly, smiling at the sight of Corrin. ] Heeeeeyyy. Nah, I didn't lose anything...

[ He's not sure if he wants to admit what he's been looking for or not. He has the feeling it'll Change Things. ]

[He resists the urge to chuckle at the reaction. How cute...

Corrin will look around as he came closer, as if his own attempt to help search for whatever was being searched. But not without giving his usual affectionate dragon hug.]

Did someone lose something here and you're helping them?

[ Aoi hugs him back, pressing a kiss to Corrin's cheek. ]

I saw something get pitched around here and I wanted to figure out what it was.

[ That's the way he's going to play it until he knows what it is - he doesn't want to betray Niles if it's something terrible to reveal. ]

He'll give Aoi a nuzzle into his shoulder before stepping back.]

Sure, if you promise we can have some hardcore snuggling afterwards. [ He pats Corrin's blushed cheek and winks, just to try to get him to blush more deeply. ] And maybe something else...

[And Aoi gets just that. He couldn't help but still get flustered even though he's known him by now. A slightly stammering Corrin as he manages to respond. ]

That has Corrin's cheeks going from pink to red as he hides his face into Aoi's shoulder in a bashful manner for a moment. Let him gather himself before he helps you search.

[ It's an explanation but not an apology. Aoi gives him a quick kiss to the lips and then backs off a step, albeit very reluctantly. He looks surprised at the question, though he really shouldn't be. ]

I'm okay, I promise. You help me be okay.

[And that's a good enough answer for Corrin to try to put it to rest. For now. (He'll always be doting and fussy for the ones he cares for. )

The kiss seemed to satisfy him. Especially the last statement. That kept him from pouting. Instead, he'd have this genuine smile on his lips still. ]

[ Aoi smiles a little shyly, something that is out of character for him but he's not exactly sure what to say. He's never been told something like that before! More like the opposite.... ]

But he won't put you on the spot any further~. Because that's when he might have seen something shiny glint (maybe due to the lighting of this set) from behind Aoi a couple feet away. ]

[ Aoi turns and sees it, kneeling down in front of the glint. He frowns when he sees what it is, closing his hand over the ring. ]

Well! That's what it is, I guess.

[ Tries to be breezy and unaffected, but super fails, because he is very clearly being hit by a swell of emotion. ]

[He was beginning to feel a bit accomplished that he probably helped Aoi find something until he saw the other putting on a facade.

Corrin was always an empathetic person, so that was an apparent facade. And the change in mood worried him. ]

Is something the matter? I'm sure the person you were helping will appreciate being able to have it back now. [He tries to be with an affectionate hand over Aoi's shoulder as he approached him.]

No... I don't think I was supposed to find this.

[ Aoi straightens up and tries to shove it in the pocket of his jeans before Corrin can spot the shiny object. He's pretty damn sure he just ruined something, actually, or maybe even ruined it already... ]

['Not supposed to find it?' Now Corrin is confused... ]

I can do that and more for you. [A warm smile came to his expression as he extended his arms out. ]

More, huh... I look forward to finding out what that means. [ Aoi's flirting is half hearted, but he still manages it because he can't look too affected and worry the other man. He steps into Corrin's arms and just hugs him for a moment before pulling him off to the couch. ]

As they moved, he lays on his back onto the couch, offering to let Aoi lay on top of him. He's flexible to arrange positions if needed!]

[ Instead of laying directly on him, Aoi moves to straddle him, knees on either side of Corrin's hips. He looks down at him for a long, quiet moment and reaches down to brush the hair out of Corrin's eyes. He leans in to kiss him, wanting a little time to sort out what he's going to say before he actually talks. ]

[ And Corrin wasn't going to object, humming in pleasure at the kiss. Red eyes closed and his hands reached to wrap around Aoi's neck when their lips met. ]

[ Aoi keeps the kiss going as long as he can, making sure to keep it sweet. His own eyes stay open, focused on Corrin's face as they kiss. When he finally has to break it he presses another kiss to Corrin's nose and speaks on uneven breath. ]

I need to tell you a story but I also want to kiss you a lot... can I do both?

[ Maybe it's because he's trying to steady his own from the exchange, but Corrin only manages a nod. His hands touch where Aoi's hair meets his neck, enjoying the mindless touch and hoping it's an encouraging gesture for Aoi. ]

[ It is. Aoi sighs a little and presses his mouth against Corrin's jawline repeatedly, speaking between kisses. ]

Have a friend... I guess he... he was gonna propose to the person.... he loves?

[He grunts at the soft kisses along his jawline, just barely able to comprehend the beginning of this story.. ]

Mmm... He sounds like man in love to think about his future with someone like that. That person he loves is lucky to be lived that much.

[ Aoi's not thinking that Corrin will not be able to comprehend. Or maybe he is, and he's playing dirty. Even he's not sure. ]

Yeah... don't think he was ready though... cuz he decided not to do it.

[ He kisses down to Corrin's neck, laying one kiss over each mark he left before. ]

[ He shivers at the gentle kisses to the marks he had gotten and arched up a bit so their chests touched a moment.

That got his attention now. ]
