[ Aoi smiles a little shyly, something that is out of character for him but he's not exactly sure what to say. He's never been told something like that before! More like the opposite.... ]

I hope to convince you, at the least. Because it's true, Aoi. [Goodness, you were the cute one here...

But he won't put you on the spot any further~. Because that's when he might have seen something shiny glint (maybe due to the lighting of this set) from behind Aoi a couple feet away. ]

...Say. You were helping in a search, right? ...I think something might be over there a couple feet behind you ?

Huh?

[ Aoi turns and sees it, kneeling down in front of the glint. He frowns when he sees what it is, closing his hand over the ring. ]

Well! That's what it is, I guess.

[ Tries to be breezy and unaffected, but super fails, because he is very clearly being hit by a swell of emotion. ]

[He was beginning to feel a bit accomplished that he probably helped Aoi find something until he saw the other putting on a facade.

Corrin was always an empathetic person, so that was an apparent facade. And the change in mood worried him. ]

Is something the matter? I'm sure the person you were helping will appreciate being able to have it back now. [He tries to be with an affectionate hand over Aoi's shoulder as he approached him.]

No... I don't think I was supposed to find this.

[ Aoi straightens up and tries to shove it in the pocket of his jeans before Corrin can spot the shiny object. He's pretty damn sure he just ruined something, actually, or maybe even ruined it already... ]

...I'll explain if I still get those snuggles.

['Not supposed to find it?' Now Corrin is confused... ]

I can do that and more for you. [A warm smile came to his expression as he extended his arms out. ]

We can even claim the couch for ourselves.

More, huh... I look forward to finding out what that means. [ Aoi's flirting is half hearted, but he still manages it because he can't look too affected and worry the other man. He steps into Corrin's arms and just hugs him for a moment before pulling him off to the couch. ]

Because feeling good inside and outside is important for me to make you feel.

[....Probably making this hurt more, huh? He's sorry, Aoi.

As they moved, he lays on his back onto the couch, offering to let Aoi lay on top of him. He's flexible to arrange positions if needed!]

[ Instead of laying directly on him, Aoi moves to straddle him, knees on either side of Corrin's hips. He looks down at him for a long, quiet moment and reaches down to brush the hair out of Corrin's eyes. He leans in to kiss him, wanting a little time to sort out what he's going to say before he actually talks. ]

[ And Corrin wasn't going to object, humming in pleasure at the kiss. Red eyes closed and his hands reached to wrap around Aoi's neck when their lips met. ]

[ Aoi keeps the kiss going as long as he can, making sure to keep it sweet. His own eyes stay open, focused on Corrin's face as they kiss. When he finally has to break it he presses another kiss to Corrin's nose and speaks on uneven breath. ]

I need to tell you a story but I also want to kiss you a lot... can I do both?

[ Maybe it's because he's trying to steady his own from the exchange, but Corrin only manages a nod. His hands touch where Aoi's hair meets his neck, enjoying the mindless touch and hoping it's an encouraging gesture for Aoi. ]

[ It is. Aoi sighs a little and presses his mouth against Corrin's jawline repeatedly, speaking between kisses. ]

Have a friend... I guess he... he was gonna propose to the person.... he loves?

[He grunts at the soft kisses along his jawline, just barely able to comprehend the beginning of this story.. ]

Mmm... He sounds like man in love to think about his future with someone like that. That person he loves is lucky to be lived that much.

[ Aoi's not thinking that Corrin will not be able to comprehend. Or maybe he is, and he's playing dirty. Even he's not sure. ]

Yeah... don't think he was ready though... cuz he decided not to do it.

[ He kisses down to Corrin's neck, laying one kiss over each mark he left before. ]

[ He shivers at the gentle kisses to the marks he had gotten and arched up a bit so their chests touched a moment.

That got his attention now. ]

Wh...What was there to be afraid of? Why? Did the person he live disappoint him?

No way... he's got self esteem issues... I think he disappointed himself...

[ Aoi resists the urge to suck on one of those marks and make Corrin arch up again. He's not going to play that dirty. But he does tug at Corrin's collar. ]

Hey... let's get some of this off. It's unwieldy.

Even so, he still sounds like a kind person when it comes down to it. He sounds brave for wanting to put his heart out like that for someone.

I'm glad he has you for a friend.

[He will blink up at you for a second before finally getting what you mean. An apologetic look came to his face as he began to help Aoi with taking some of his armor off. ]

Sorry...

Pfft. Why are you sorry? [ He kisses Corrin on the lips to try to sooth that apology away. ] He's really kind, yeah. But I guess he ended up running away in the end. I think I should talk to him and tell him he did the wrong thing?

Because neither of them are going to be truly happy until he does...

[ And it did soothe it away, because Aoi may hear Corrin giggle a bit at the kiss before quickly returning an affectionate kiss of his own. Aoi you're cute, so Corrin's gonna reach up and wrap his arms (free from its usual armor now!) and give a kiss to Aoi's nose. ]

You're a very good person, Aoi. I hope you know that. Those friends of yours are so lucky to know you.

I hope he finds the courage, someday... Love is a beautiful thing and who is he to shy from it.

[ He's not used to being called a good person and it shows in how he shies up a little, glancing away and blushing before nuzzling his face against Corrin's neck.. ]

It's hard not to shy away from it sometimes... it's beautiful but scary. [ His voice is muffled but hopefully still perceptible. ] But if you can find your way to giving into it, it's amazing, you know?

[Ok, now he couldn't help but chuckle at how bashful the other man was. But he won't put him on the spot. At least for long.

You're cute, Aoi... He will hug him, now, attempting to bring them both closer. ]

I'm glad to have a chance to experience it. I really am.

And you think your friend just got overwhelmed and was afraid of getting hurt, is what you're saying?

Yeah, I think so.

[ Aoi hugs him back, snuggling up as close as possible. ]

So I'm going to talk to him... try to boost up his self confidence.

If you need it. I can offer my help, too. No one shoul dave ot deal with that alone. I'm glad he has you.

[ Corrin really is enjoying just.... feeling the warmth and presence of this other person in front of him. His own hands begin to move and rub up and down Aoi's back.

He wondered if his increasing heartbeat was noticeable. ]

So if you spoke of him proposing... Was it a ring, then? [That you had found just now.]

...Yeah. Yeah, it was.

[ Aoi sighs at the rubbing and starts to relax against Corrin. He presses his lips against the other's throat again, trying to make him feel as nice as he is currently feeling. ]

Thanks for offering, too, but I don't want him to feel confronted... I think I gotta do it myself.
